Valentines 2013

Froggy birthday cake for a friend. I refuse to use fondant (allergy issues) so I did a Sculpy version of the example I got. :) No need to throw it away after the cake is gone.

Flower cupcakes

The trick is to make the buttercream very dry, so the leaves break in the edges. Substitute most of the butter for milk so it won't be to intense (the flowers take a lot of frosting and can be too sweet fot the cupcake).

Christmas Tree Brownies

Brownies cut in long triangles made the cutest christmas trees with royal icing and white sprinkles. 

Chocolate Meringue Pie

Sarina gave me the Cutest Funnel for christmas. I did not use this for this pie, but can't wait to try it in a new covered pie recipe.
